YouTube Insiders – It’s Like A Treasure Chest For YouTube Video Makers.
The simple fact that I have a YouTube channel may not impress you much, but I happen to love the videos that we do. Some people go above and beyond to gain and maintain an audience on their YouTube accounts, and many have gone on to become “viral” or even famous. The one thing that has always perplexed me is the issue of “making money with YouTube,” because I didn’t understand it. How do people make money off of uploading a video of a monkey flipping off a cat while skateboarding down a snowbank? Yep, new commercial for my Halloween coloring book for adults, which is now available from my publisher and on Amazon.com! This commercial is dark, I like it, but I can’t get past the 3D animated stuff… I guess I am old school and like the real stuff better! LOL! Oh well, it’s still creepy in it’s own way!

Speaking of Halloween, my friend Josh has put together a Facebook Event to gather on Friday, October 26th to visit the “Field of Screams” and has made it an exclusive event! I will be there, along with other friends and people that I have not met yet – and I am very excited!
Every year I always review Field of Screams, and it’s pretty much the only haunt I get to visit during my busy October season! The highlight of this years visit to the haunt….. getting to hang out with my friends, and to give Josh a big old hug. I haven’t seen him in a while, and it will be nice to hang out!
I got a fan pic the other day from a guy who got my Halloween coloring book, and got creative with the “color or die” slogan that we use in our ads! I love it, and I’ll probably use it at some point for a banner or something! Thanks mate for the awesome photo, too bad your dead with those kick ass abs!

Recently I decided to plan a trip to New York, and I was doing some research on locally owned restaurants that will be nearby where I am visiting. It has long since been my motto to support local businesses, and to fund local entrepreneurship. Nestled in Medford, New York there is a unique restaurant that open for lunch and dinner everyday. The bar and grill in Long Island, has a wonderful establishment that serves up some fine food and amazing beer & ale! Here is how they describe themselves:

The Long Island Ale House is open for guests, groups, and even kids! Come as you are, and walk-in with no reservations – which makes it nice instead of having to go to Manhattan for a fun night out. My intrigue is also in their unique locally brewed beers and ales, which make me wish that the bar and grill in Long Island was closer to me. For instance, they recently had a free tasting of “Shock Top Pumpkin Ale,” which had me dreaming of the aroma and flavors that could accompany such a title. My plans are to visit New York soon to try this wonderful restaurant, and to bring you the full experience when I return! I am also excited to check out the local music that plays there as well, because you know how much I dig independent music! We used the application on our system to have a conference call between myself, and a couple of members of my staff using Facebook, and we enjoyed the quality of the call, and I had fun muting those that comically “got out of line” during the call so we could get back to business.
What was neat is, we decided that we wanted feedback, and so I was able to share the conference link on my wall. This engaged more people to join in, just for fun – it was a great time! During the call, we all made plans to meet up at a local pizza joint and had a blast! The good news, all of my staff had a great time, and we met some new friends from my Facebook along the way! Not only is that SOCIAL, but that this takes FACEBOOK to the next level! WHOO-HOO!
Earlier I mentioned this would be good for podcasters! Using this application with a recording app to record calls means you could ultimately conference in up to six people, and record the call, which could then be used to upload as a podcast – or import for post production!
