The simple fact that I have a YouTube channel may not impress you much, but I happen to love the videos that we do. Some people go above and beyond to gain and maintain an audience on their YouTube accounts, and many have gone on to become “viral” or even famous. The one thing that has always perplexed me is the issue of “making money with YouTube,” because I didn’t understand it. How do people make money off of uploading a video of a monkey flipping off a cat while skateboarding down a snowbank? It seems that all of your burning YouTube questions can be answered with a little help from TubeInsiders.com, which we explored and found quite impressive.
There are a large number of “How-To” videos that aide you in various things like turning off the auto-search, or removing your “name” from your channel. There are also a large number of articles and resources that help you with monetization, which I had no idea was so “organized” behind the scenes once a YouTuber partner’s with an ad network. Really? I had no idea! So all of this time I could have been making money on my videos? *SmacksHead*
The question is not in the WHY, but in the HOW. TubeInsiders.com makes it easy with screenshots, reviews, and information to help you along the way develop your own successful series, or guide you in the direction of making money off of what you have already uploaded!
The site covers the following categories in rigorous detail, including news about YouTube, advertising partners, and of course tips on using the site that I didn’t even know! I also got a sneak peak at the YouTube app for the Wii U, and was able to get honest reviews on some network partners that I felt were very well thought out. In fact, it makes me want to take my YouTube channel much more seriously now than I have in the past, which cracks me up – because I use it for fun and promotion, and never thought of it as an revenue generator. *SmacksHead*
If you are looking for a HONEST and detailed website about YouTube resources, tips & tricks, and monetization than head on over to TubeInsiders.com for the full skinny on making money with your uploads! The site is new, fresh out of the box, and growing EVERY DAY so keep checking back for more and more updates! We will certainly be adding this site to our list of links that we love, and trying some of their suggestions for my own YouTube channel!
I know a lot of my readers post videos to YouTube, so this is your chance! Head on over to TubeInsiders.com and get that money rolling in! If you haven’t started a YouTube channel, maybe this is your wake up call now to start! Right? Hey, if you don’t need the extra cash, you can always send it to me!

Yep, new commercial for my Halloween coloring book for adults, which is now available from my publisher and on Amazon.com! This commercial is dark, I like it, but I can’t get past the 3D animated stuff… I guess I am old school and like the real stuff better! LOL! Oh well, it’s still creepy in it’s own way!
Check it out:
Speaking of Halloween, my friend Josh has put together a Facebook Event to gather on Friday, October 26th to visit the “Field of Screams” and has made it an exclusive event! I will be there, along with other friends and people that I have not met yet – and I am very excited!
Every year I always review Field of Screams, and it’s pretty much the only haunt I get to visit during my busy October season! The highlight of this years visit to the haunt….. getting to hang out with my friends, and to give Josh a big old hug. I haven’t seen him in a while, and it will be nice to hang out!
I got a fan pic the other day from a guy who got my Halloween coloring book, and got creative with the “color or die” slogan that we use in our ads! I love it, and I’ll probably use it at some point for a banner or something! Thanks mate for the awesome photo, too bad your dead with those kick ass abs! LOL!
Again, if you want a copy of my book “This Is Not Your Kid’s Halloween Coloring Book,” then please get your copy and enjoy! I am already working on my next book, and thinking about it brings a smile to my face. Also, check out this kick ass review of my coloring book on SoEntertain.me’s website! KILLER huh? (Heh, I said killer…)

Recently I decided to plan a trip to New York, and I was doing some research on locally owned restaurants that will be nearby where I am visiting. It has long since been my motto to support local businesses, and to fund local entrepreneurship. Nestled in Medford, New York there is a unique restaurant that open for lunch and dinner everyday. The bar and grill in Long Island, has a wonderful establishment that serves up some fine food and amazing beer & ale! Here is how they describe themselves:
“To that end, we use only fresh fruits and vegetables that are delivered daily. While many of our beers might not yet be familiar, we’re sure you’ll quickly become a fan of what’s brewed in your own backyard… and raise a glass or two to your favorite sports team while you dine or sit at the bar and take in a game. Your days of traveling into Manhattan for a five-star meal are officially over. Our experienced team is committed to insuring that your time spent with us is nothing short of memorable. We treat you, our patrons, as if you were family. And if you’ve enjoyed your meal, we hope you’ll share the raves with your friends. Since our home is your home, think about making the Long Island Ale House your second kitchen… the one where WE do all the work and YOU sit back and enjoy.”
The Long Island Ale House is open for guests, groups, and even kids! Come as you are, and walk-in with no reservations – which makes it nice instead of having to go to Manhattan for a fun night out. My intrigue is also in their unique locally brewed beers and ales, which make me wish that the bar and grill in Long Island was closer to me. For instance, they recently had a free tasting of “Shock Top Pumpkin Ale,” which had me dreaming of the aroma and flavors that could accompany such a title. My plans are to visit New York soon to try this wonderful restaurant, and to bring you the full experience when I return! I am also excited to check out the local music that plays there as well, because you know how much I dig independent music! Indeed, if you are reading this and Medford, New York is nearby – stop in for a nice lunch or dinner, and let me know.

Have you ever wanted to chat with your friends on Facebook like a party line? On the phone with a group of your friends, and the ability to mute the call, keep callers on the line, invite callers straight from your wall, or call them back if they get disconnected?
For podcasters, conference calls, or group meetings with friends this application is a DREAM COME TRUE! Never mind expensive fees, this application does it all not through a phone number, but through social id’s that are assigned to each contact.
The app is described as:
“Mobile to Mobile Group Calling from Facebook. Safe & Secure.
No phone #s.
Call Friends – mobile-to-mobile group calling with a click from Facebook. Talk to up to 6 Facebook friends on a single mobile call without phone numbers. Tap friends profile pix to start the conversation – everyone’s mobile rings. Super easy to invite friends to join you in the Call Friends app.
Personal Calling Dashboard: New call control features. Your calling dashboard shows you who’s on the call and allows you to mute, delete and re-call anyone on the call.
Wall Calls – Choose the SHARE option & the calls you make to friends will post as live links on your Facebook News Feed. More friends can click to join the call.
Now that’s social!
No more phone numbers. Call Friends translates phones #s into social IDs. No need to know or store phone numbers. Call Friends becomes your complete social phone book!
Safe and secure: Your phone # is never shared with 3rd parties, including Facebook. You can show or hide your caller ID as you wish. Works with your existing carrier plan: No extra fees or charges. Call Friends is free to download. Your calls use your existing carrier plan minutes. Mobile USA Only!”
We used the application on our system to have a conference call between myself, and a couple of members of my staff using Facebook, and we enjoyed the quality of the call, and I had fun muting those that comically “got out of line” during the call so we could get back to business.
What was neat is, we decided that we wanted feedback, and so I was able to share the conference link on my wall. This engaged more people to join in, just for fun – it was a great time! During the call, we all made plans to meet up at a local pizza joint and had a blast! The good news, all of my staff had a great time, and we met some new friends from my Facebook along the way! Not only is that SOCIAL, but that this takes FACEBOOK to the next level! WHOO-HOO!
Earlier I mentioned this would be good for podcasters! Using this application with a recording app to record calls means you could ultimately conference in up to six people, and record the call, which could then be used to upload as a podcast – or import for post production! The ideas for this application are endless, and since a lot of people use social networking for business purposes a free conference call application is THE MOST BRILLIANT IDEA to hit a mobile phone!
Please CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD the free application, and try it for yourself! This is the NEXT BIG THING for social networking enthusiasts who want the ability to communicate live with their friends, without the hassle of additional charges!
