Jake Wheat’s New Book Has Some Hot….DEAD….Models!

Jake Wheat’s new book “Color or Die” due to hit shelves on January 1st, 2013 deals with some controversial topics which initially caused a delay in publishing.  The 50,000 + word novel contains graphic content, including scenes of cannibalism of women, children, and men – along with some very graphic torture scenes.  Wheat described the book by saying “I wanted it to feel real, as if this was a true crime story, and didn’t leave anything out.  Even while writing the book, I would dream up these situations and then while writing would make myself sick to my stomach.  The good news is that the story deals with one man, one character, and you really get to know him – and his evil.  While picking up on his motivation, we have a few  twists that really shake up the book – not to mention it has a ton of coloring pages.”

The book is full of images of torture, death, and even some nudity.  ”I didn’t want to hold back this time like I did with my first coloring book, and I wanted this go to be a full novel.  I am proud of my work, and stand by it.  I think the message is clear that the book is fictional, and it is designed to make you uncomfortable,” Wheat said.

The book not only contains illustrations by artist Michael McPhee, but also contains a few internal images of real models that were elaborately photohopped as murder victims.  One of the models, pictured above, posed for a shot promoting the JakeWheat.com website and two other models were photographed for the book.

Excitement is building for the book, including one of Wheat’s friends doing home made video promos to support the release:
