FBTouch 4 For Facebook App
If you are like me, you spend 1/3 of your life on Facebook, and you aren’t sure why. Maybe it’s to leave footprint of your life, or maybe to have your voice heard in a World where everyone is shouting – either way, Facebook is a place where most people “are” these days. Facebook is also a place that you can “go” on your mobile phone, and with more and more mobile devices hitting the Internet, it’s wise to note that the applications that give you access to the best features of sites like Facebook are the ones that will, indeed, be the frontrunners for people who want to stay connected. Take for instance FBTouch 4, an Android app by Sai Infotech who set out to make a Facebook app that was better than the official one. It’s success is measured not only by the dedication of the programmers, but the comfort of not having that frustration with the official app when things you used to be able to do disappear or are only available when you get to your laptop or PC.
Here are just some of the many features you get with FBTouch 4:
Support Android 4.0 ICS Holo Theme
+ Support notifications
+ Support Check-Ins
+ Can launch Facebook Messenger and Go!Chat
+ Scroll page using volume key
+ Fullscreen toggle
+ Search button shortcut
+ Automatically launch YouTube app from YouTube video links
+ Launch links on a web browser
+ Save image (Long touch on an image)
+ Image uploading
+ Multilingual menu (Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portugese, and Spanish)
+ Clear cache
Upon review of this application, we found it to load faster than the official app and also we were able to do much more such as saving photos, opening video links directly into YouTube, and of course, deleting posts and comments – which we find hard to do (if nearly now impossible) on the official app.
The programmers are constantly keeping up with additional features and information, which you can find on this website and the app is free. Check out the links below to try it out for yourself, and you may find yourself ditching the official app and using this one instead!
