I believe I am about ready to delete my Facebook profile, and I think it will be with good reason. For one, I have an email account, and now that I have caught up with my past – I am able to screen those people that I find have matured enough to become people I would want to build friendships with, and the others – well – they have left me either unimpressed, have gone psycho, or are just plain not a match for the level of maturity that I would have hoped they would have obtained.
For instance, I grew up in a small area of Louisville called “Valley Station” which is pretty much dominated by the working class or blue collar workers of the City. As you move further towards the Downtown area, the income and social classes become poorer, and as you move further East the social classes and income levels increase. It’s the simple truth, nothing more and nothing less.
Homophobia is something that I cannot stand, and I have friends on my facebook who post things about “that movie is so gay,” or jabs back and forth about people being “a fucking queer” or taking in in the butt, etc. It’s not exactly what you call intellegent talk, and for the record it frankly annoys me. I guess I should start by saying that for the record, there aren’t too many COMPELTELY straight people left in this world – because what sexuality considers straight, does not fit into the sexual practices of most of the people I know.
People who practice BDSM, or any type of sexual fetish are not “straight” and the objectification of being “heterosexual” is not defined soley by the fact you have one woman and one man, expecially when the man or woman involve other couples or introduce sexual toys into the picture which simulate the same sex organs. Now, I am not saying that if you use a dildo you are gay, I am just saying if you have ever inserted one in your anus, your not straight.
Yes, being gay – or HOMOsexual means you are partnered or have sex with someone of the same sex – but that is all. It does not denote a weakness, insecurity, or perscribe to the stereotype that a gay person is less of a man – or less masculine – than a heterosexual. In fact, I know many gay men who are so fucking athletic that they often confuse heterosexuals (and suspend them in disbelief) when they announce they are indeed gay.
The point I am making is, that ignorance is something that should be overcome – not by education, and not by going out on a big gay float half naked blowing a pride whistle. It should be changed by example, to show that gay people are no different than anyone else.
As for the situation that caused me to explode, all I have to say is – whatever the issue, whatever the offense, the simple fact remains that 1 in 10 people are gay on this planet…. and so however far removed you feel you may be from someone who is gay……. you are simply just oblivious.
Is ignorance bliss? I guess if you want to feel you are safe around your beefed up hetero friends, who are hooking up on Craigslist with other guys for a “blo-n-go” when their girlfriends or wives are away.

I am writing this from my laptop, as my iPhone keeps sounding off letting me know that someone has replied on my Facebook. It’s driving me apeshit, and I am thinking about deleting my profile for the sake of my sanity.
For those of you who are following me like the creepy stalker people that you are (just kidding) no I am not doing anything right now except working, and while I am finishing up my novel – I have no intentions on releasing it until 2011.
I actually have a large collection of my written work that I need to organize and file away so that I can revisit them later, and possibly fine tune them for publishing. Who knows?
What I do know is that for the next six months I will be very busy committing myself to the future, and working on my book. I am excited to be blogging here, and I think that by keeping you informed – that will keep me motivated. It’s a win-win situation, right?
Anyway, if you haven’t already – join my Twitter, and jump on my Facebook…. um, wow that really sounds nasty, even though it’s not! LOL!

Umemployment is hard enough, but add in the factor that some people out there are posting bogus jobs, and you have added stress if you are running out of savings, and have bills piling up. It’s false hope, and people who are given false hope are easily discouraged.
Not me. I have turned looking for a full time job, into a full time job.
Recently I was involved in a job scam that I recognized as a scam, and reported it to the FBI, Better Business Bureau, and also the Internet Crimes Unit. Because I had a lot of documentation, and kept all of my email logs and chat sessions with this “bogus employer” who wanted to scam me out of money to “work” for them, I ended up on the news.
Special thanks to WDRB Fox 41 News for their coverage of my story, which you can read about HERE (.pdf) and click on the video below to watch the news story!
For those of you out there looking for employment, please don’t give up – keep going – but be wary for anything that sounds “too good to be true.”
If you are trying to grow your business online, or gather a fan base for your newly polished blog – then you may want to take some of these tips to heart! Being SEO optimized is like being “the friendly neighbor” to various search engines on the Internet, and making sure that your website greets them with a smile!
So should you bake cinnamon cookies, and stand at the door with gleaming white teeth? You can if you want, but we suggest tweaking your website so that search engines will find the doorstep to your website equally appetizing:
1. Choose Effective Keywords: Make sure that when you are producing content for your website, that you use keywords directly attributed to “popular” keywords for your topic. Search Engine Optimization (SEO), can be impacted greatly by choosing the right “keywords,” and impacts the individual traffic that it supports.
2. Website Makeover: Check out your html code, and make sure that you have a title <title> that defines your website, and make sure you have it optimized to appropriately place your site page into the search engines index.
3. SEO Optimization Plugins: If you are a blogger, plug-ins are available for Search Engine Optimization for various blog platforms, allowing you to enter post tags, titles, keywords, and descriptions – that are compliant and ready for various search engines to index. For Wordpress users, I am partial to the “All In One SEO Pack” – which allows me to optimize my site, and each post!
4. Choose Appropriate Keywords: Always keep your keywords short, sweet, and to the point. Do not use words like “the,” and you do not need to put in keywords like “website or online.” If you are doing a website for preparing various food dishes, you may want to consider “cooking, cooks, baking, bakers, bread, kitchen, healthy meals, dinner, eating.” You can use hundreds of these if you wish, and you can provide combinations to make sure that your optimization methods are maximized! For instance “cooking healthy foods” can be one keyword, and then “baking chocolate cake,” could ultimately be another.
5. Create An XML Sitemap: You can create sitemaps using FREE XML sitemap generators online, and the best one is right from the most popular search engines source! Sign up for a free Google.com webmaster tools account, and check out some of the unique tools available for webmasters!
The above examples are just a minor dip in the pool of SEO Optimization, which is just ONE of the many services that I offer! If you are interested in getting your website optimized to the max, then please feel free to contact me! Proper SEO Optimization is one of the keys to success with an online business, so make those changes and implement those habits to make the grade today!
Trendsmap, is simply real-time mapping of Twitter “trends” from all over the Globe. It displays a global map with zoom capabilities, and highlights semi-transparent captions that move and change with (again) real-time trends.
Louisville, Kentucky – my hometown displays this map, which thanks to a handy on-site feature, allows me to create a “link of current map view” for you to see – as I am seeing! What are the current trends for my area right now? Glory, Breath, Praise, Nephew, Criticizing, Playoffs, and Virgo. Hmm.
What would Twitter trends be useful for? Why even bother wondering what trends are surfacing in your area? Trends are useful for SEO Optimization, and marketing keywords and key ideas for bloggers and other individuals to capture the attention of the majority. If a trend in your area is about “the playoffs,” then capitalizing on a blog post or small article about “the playoffs” in your area may be the key to more site/blog visits.
To be sure you are keeping current, clicking on the trend in the map brings up links, and details on the actual trend as it occurs. If you are looking to get content for your area, and you want to know what EVERYONE is talking about – this is your dream come true!
